You want to read faster. So does everyone. But most speed reading apps only measure how fast your eyes move across the page. They measure looking, not reading. They never ask whether you understood what you read. That is a vanity metric disguised as progress.
Volumes measures both. After each reading session, a short comprehension check tests what you actually took in. Your speed is multiplied by your understanding to give you one honest number. When that number goes up, you are genuinely reading better, not just skimming faster.
Three ways to read, your way. RSVP displays one word at a time so your eyes stay still and your focus sharpens. Smart Chunking groups words into natural phrases for fluid, natural reading. Standard mode is traditional reading with your speed and comprehension tracked. Switch between them whenever you like.
We built Volumes for every kind of reader. OpenDyslexic font and Irlen tinted overlays are built in from the start, not hidden away. And they are free for every user, not locked behind a paywall. Gradual speed ramp-up after pauses. A streak counter you can switch off entirely. Whether you are dyslexic, ADHD, a visual processor or a traditional reader, Volumes adapts to how your brain works, not the other way round.
