About this app

Speedy turns your phone into a drag-strip timer. Just drive. Speedy detects your launch by itself, times the run, and saves the result — no buttons to press while you're accelerating.

WHAT IT MEASURES
• 0–60 mph / 0–100 km/h
• 0–130 mph / 0–200 km/h
• 60–130 mph / 100–200 km/h
• 60 ft, 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile, with trap speed
• Splits every 10 mph (20 km/h)

BUILT FOR ACCURACY
Speedy pairs GPS with your phone's accelerometer to pinpoint the exact instant you launched, instead of waiting for GPS to catch up. 0–60 is reported with the 1-foot rollout used at real drag strips, so your times line up with how cars are actually tested.

An honest signal indicator shows how many satellites are solving your position, and tells you when conditions aren't good enough to trust a run — no fake numbers.

EVERY RUN KEPT
• Results saved automatically on your phone
• Map and speed trace for every run
• Altitude, temperature and density altitude recorded alongside
• Peak g, top speed and GPS accuracy on each result

LEADERBOARD
Publish a run and see where it lands against other drivers across nine boards — mph, km/h and the quarter mile. Your car, your mods, your time. The route you drove stays on your phone: it is never uploaded with a published run.

YOUR UNITS
mph or km/h · °F or °C · feet or metres

Speedy is intended for off-road and closed-course use. Always drive safely and obey local law.

Data safety

Safety starts with understanding how developers collect and share your data. Data privacy and security practices may vary based on your use, region, and age. The developer provided this information and may update it over time.

What’s new

• A pull ends when you slow down, so driving with Speedy open no longer turns a whole trip into one result.
• 0-60, 0-130, 1/8 and 1/4 mile only count when they happen within 30 seconds of the launch. No more nine-minute 0-60 sitting in your history.
• If GPS drops out, the run ends there instead of guessing across the gap.
Everything measured before the signal went is kept.
• A run that ends while you are still rolling shows its result the moment you
come to a stop.
