About this app

Listen differently. Musical Permutations lets you explore chamber-music interpretations: choose a pianist and a cellist, then change performers while listening. Transitions take place between musical phrases.

Discover Le Cygne by Camille Saint-Saëns and Salut d'Amour by Edward Elgar, performed by three pianists and three cellists. Each piece is available in nine duet combinations.

The small app downloads recordings separately. Choose SD 540p (about 780 MB) or HD 720p (about 1.13 GB). After a complete pack is downloaded, both pieces and every duet work offline. Interrupted downloads can be resumed.

The main window focuses on the player. Project information, artist biographies, the recording library and Polish/English language settings are available in the menu.

The app and recording packs are free. No account, advertising or in-app purchases. Internet access is needed for the initial recording download. Requires Android 8 or later. Phones use landscape; tablets support portrait and landscape. Keep the app open while downloading.
