About this app

SmartTech is Spencer Technologies' field-service app for our technicians. It is a closed, internal workforce tool available only to authorized Spencer Technologies employees and contractors who sign in with their corporate account.

SmartTech helps technicians:

- View today's and all upcoming assigned tasks, and accept or decline newly assigned work
- See full task detail: scope of work, required steps, skills, parts, and tools, plus attachments and related request information
- Start, pause, and resume travel time, with on-device arrival validation at the job site
- Check in with the on-site contact and log work time automatically on arrival
- Track work time with pause/resume, and log non-task time such as meals, shop time, or training
- Capture photos and the on-site contact's signature as part of job documentation
- Complete jobs with a resolution status and choose next steps: travel home, travel to the next task, or pause
- Work fully offline: accepted task details, notes, time entries, parts, status changes, and attachments are captured on the device and sync automatically once connectivity returns

Sign-in is through Spencer Technologies' corporate identity provider. This app does not support self-service account creation and is not intended for use by the general public.
