Standard lock screens only have one password. Scuttlepod gives you four:
• Master PIN: Full access to your protected apps and settings.
• Guest PIN: Unlocks the phone for a friend, but instantly throws up an impenetrable lock screen if they try to open your private apps.
• The Panic-Backup (Delay Tactic) PIN: Fools the intruder. The phone looks unlocked, giving you time to breathe. But in the background, Scuttlepod is silently forcing a lightning-fast upload of your selected folders to your private cloud. The moment the intruder taps a restricted app, the lock screen drops, forcing a decision: unlock or wipe.
• The Panic-Wipe PIN: Triggers a customizable Doomsday countdown (10, 15, 30, or 60 seconds). Only the Master PIN can abort it. It even survives device reboots—if a thief restarts the phone to kill the app, the countdown relentlessly resumes the moment the device powers back up to shred your selected folders.

🚀 THE SCORCHED EARTH WIPE
A standard delete only unlinks your files, leaving them vulnerable to basic recovery tools. Scuttlepod utilizes an advanced, secure overwriting engine.
• Zero-Fill Overwrite: Files are physically overwritten with random bytes or zeros first, ensuring the actual data is permanently vaporized.
• Metadata Shredding: After the zero-fill, Scuttlepod renames your folders and files to random numbers before deleting them.*

📲 OFFLINE & ONLINE EMERGENCY TRIGGERS
Thieves work fast. Scuttlepod works faster.
• Notification Interceptor (Offline): Text your stolen phone your secret keyword from any device. Scuttlepod intercepts the notification, hides it from the thief, and silently triggers the rescue engine.
• The Cloud Canary (Online): Phone turned off? Log into your cloud storage (Google Drive or Dropbox) from a laptop and delete your canary file. The exact second the stolen phone connects online (via mobile data or Wi-Fi), Scuttlepod detects the missing file, starts the backup, and wipes your selected folders.
• Time-Travel Proof Dead Man's Switch: Built for when a phone screen is damaged beyond repair, or if the owner is incapacitated. If you don't unlock your phone for 7, 14, 30, or 90 days, Scuttlepod safely uploads your selected folders to the cloud, then permanently disables the trigger. It pings Google's UTC servers directly, ensuring your files are never backed up prematurely due to an out-of-sync system clock.

📸 INTRUDER LOGS
Catch snoops in the act. If an incorrect PIN is entered on the lock screen, Scuttlepod silently snaps a photo using the front and back cameras. These photos are saved strictly inside Scuttlepod’s private, sandboxed internal storage. They are completely hidden from your system photo gallery and protected by Android’s hardware-level file-based encryption. No other applications can ever access or see them.
