About this app

Sphyron CAD is a parametric CAD app for makers who 3D print, laser cut or use a CNC router. Type the dimensions you need and export a file for your printer, laser or CNC software, straight from your Android phone or tablet.

What's inside
• Wizards CAD (free): draw in 2D and build 3D solids, step by step. Ready-made parts from the catalogue and library (gears, pulleys, bearings, motor mounts, electronics) come with the full version; basic shapes are free.
• 3D Viewer (free): open STL, OBJ and DXF files and check dimensions and fit.
• Mechanical parts: gears, tubes, spacers, plates and tube connectors, generated from the numbers you set.
• Boxes: finger-joint boxes for 3D printing or laser cutting.
• Lamps & games: parametric lamps, shades, mazes, puzzles and board games.
• Image to CNC: turn a picture into a lithophane, a relief, a carved plate, a hole pattern, a keychain or a line drawing. On phones with 6 GB of RAM or more, optional AI depth gives people and objects real volume, and the photo never leaves your device.
• Community space (full version): open designs shared by other makers, or send your own for review.
• Connect to PC (free): show and control the app in your computer's browser over a USB tethering cable. The connection stays between your phone and your computer; nothing is sent to the internet.

Files
Exports STL for 3D printing and CNC, and DXF or SVG for laser cutting. Sphyron CAD does not generate G-code: open the files in your slicer, laser or CAM software.

Saving files needs one one-time purchase, with no subscription: from Mechanical parts, Boxes, Lamps & games and Image to CNC, and from Wizards CAD designs that use ready-made parts or the gear, drilling and joint-teeth tools. Your first 5 exports are free so you can try it first. Your own drawings and solids in Wizards CAD, the 3D Viewer and Connect to PC are free. No ads, no account, no tracking.

Requirements
Android 10 or newer with OpenGL ES 3.0. Recommended: 6 GB of RAM or more; 8 GB for full-resolution Image to CNC reliefs.

• Wizards CAD 3D: new Top cut — give boxes and cylinders a slanted, curved or notched top, with the low side and depth you choose.
• Image to CNC: AI depth now keeps the whole subject when something nearer, such as a helmet, is in front of it.
