🔍 HOW IT WORKS
Scan the barcode or take a photo of the ingredient list. SPICE instantly identifies which allergens and additives are present, even if the label is in Chinese, Arabic or another script.
✅ ALL MAJOR ALLERGENS COVERED
All 14 EU-mandatory allergens and beyond: gluten, milk, lactose, eggs, fish, crustaceans, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphites, lupin, molluscs, fructose intolerance and histamine intolerance.
⚗️ E-NUMBER CHECKER
Unlike most allergy apps, SPICE checks 39 E-numbers and food additives. Switch each one on or off:
• E120 (Carmine): red dye from insects, avoided by vegans and for religious reasons
• E441 (Gelatine): animal-derived, relevant for halal, kosher, vegan and vegetarian
• E621 (MSG), E211, E951 and more: sweeteners, preservatives and colourings
👨👩👧 MULTIPLE PROFILES
Create separate profiles for yourself, your partner and your children. Each profile has its own allergen and E-number list. Switch between profiles with one tap while scanning.
🍽️ RESTAURANT MODE
Point the camera at a menu. SPICE reads the text automatically, including Asian scripts. Ideal for travelling abroad or labels in an unfamiliar language.

A personal allergen card in 29 languages, including a phrase for the waiter in the local language. Show it to restaurant staff — they'll understand instantly.
