Nevermind, turns out that this app resets itself whenever you restart your phone, so if you don't want that floating button on your screen you have to disable it every time and then re enable your preferred method. I think this app also messes up Android's permissions prompts because it "writes over the screen" according to the error message. Means you can't grant any permissions without disabling the app. Good concept but ultimately not useful.

This app does what it says and allows me to use two apps on one screen, with the ability to resize both which is convenient, as I mainly use it to study. However the only catch is that when I click the split screen button the screen does not immediately split, so unless I rotate the screen the second screen will not show up, and then after it becomes visible I turn off rotation and use it normally. In addition to being unable to change the app in the top screen, and switch position of screens.

Completely misleading name. It's not split screen, just extra tabs. I don't even care about how the app actually is, that's a 2 star. If this app is all about tabs on your screen, at least don't name it 'split screen'.
