About this app

SplitFast Field Events is the essential app for recording, ranking, and managing field event results in athletics. Built for coaches, club officials, teachers, and meet organisers running training sessions, athletics meets, and sports carnivals.

Use the app standalone in Local Mode to record events on a single device with athletes you set up yourself, or sign in to your SplitFast Portal account to sync athletes, meets, and results with your club's portal records.

KEY FEATURES

Accurate scoring with official-style tie-breaking
Record athlete attempts with precision and apply the standard athletics tie-breaking procedures for each event — ensuring accurate and fair rankings every time.

Real-time performance tracking
View live results during an event as you record attempts. In portal mode, the app automatically tracks personal bests, season bests, and club records — highlighting them as athletes match or exceed them.

Flexible event setup
Select age groups, included event types, high jump starting height, elimination rules, and other event-specific options.

Export and sync results
Results can be exported as CSV files in multiple formats for record-keeping, sharing, or further analysis — available in every mode. In portal mode, results also sync directly to the SplitFast Portal, so they can be viewed online by all club members.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

The app offers two optional auto-renewing annual subscriptions in Local Mode:

• Individual — unlimited local athletes for personal use on your own devices.
• Club — unlimited local athletes across every device signed in to the same Apple ID. Ideal for schools and clubs running events on multiple iPads.

Free use is limited to 5 local athletes. Subscriptions are separate from a SplitFast Portal account; portal users can use the app at no extra cost when signed in. Subscription prices vary by region — see in-app pricing.
