Good new is, much better quality piano sounds than Android competitor Perfect Piano. Bad new is, much worse latency than Perfect Piano (regardless of Settings) renders this app unusable for me (this is on a good Moto phone with a fast processor). It's a shame since the sonic quality is good. But striking a key on my external midi keyboard and not hearing a truly simultaneous sound from the app is a deal breaker.
I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. Did you happen to check the "Settings" screen for our low latency guide? It provides instructions on achieving low latency. Additionally, if your device supports "Pro Audio," you should not encounter any issues.

This app has a very high quality, realistic piano sound: It does sound like a grand piano in airy concert hall! There are surprising few options for VST's for Android that are without serious flaws. Eg, some piano apps sound very electronic and fake. One app sounds like it has damper pedal always on, and another, equally annoying, you can not turn the damper pedal on. The new USB midi function works quite well with my smartphone and midi keyboard (basically makes this an useful app). The latency is low and responsive. The damper pedal works well too. It is a joy to play! Some suggestions for improvement: 1. App really needs to work in the background. Very often, I play along with an MP3 player, iRealPro, drum machine, looper (ASD). Other piano apps can do this, so this should be practical to implement. 2: in midi mode, the keyboard on the screen is no longer useful. It would be nice to show dials, switches and other useful things rather than the keyboard, and you can more easily switch programs w/o accidentally hitting a note. 3, introduce a Rhodes or DX sound with the same high quality. If 1 and 2 can be implement, this will be the best Android VST I have found by far after a lot of looking. The developer charge a little over $2USD for the full version. Quite a bargain for such a high quality app!

Thank you!
Google allows us short answers only, so can't explain it all here. (Actually did, but rejected)
Very short answer:
1. Will allow the background apps' sounds for you.
2. Some options like "No on-screen Key Input" will be added.
3. We did and will focus on the grand piano categories. You will see some more grand pianos coming soon.

Ok. I tried this on a 2019 A10s (not to be confused with the flagship S10). Cheapo phone. Extremely underpowered. Barely any ram. But the app actually opened and recognized my midi controller (m audio hammer 88 pro) and then actually gave sound. The sound is quite nice actually, especially on some nice speakers. It still crashed my phone after a few mins(to be expected). But with a more recent and more powerful device, it most likely will work. Also, barely any latency.

Thanks for the comment :) Yes, we tried our best to optimize but it still requires more memory and processor power than other piano apps for realistic sounds. There will be an update with some optimization later next month. We don't know it will fix your problem, but it's worth a try.
