only grief was on regs change day. I have looked in the early am and regs hadn't been updated. app says they were updated at a time after I was looking but hadn't been. I did exchange emails about this. hope you have it fixed this year . like the way it offers location and species. Cheers Mike

It's a good app showing the fishing areas, conservation areas, and such. The report your catch app doesn't work at all. The species identifier did not work at all. The description and what you can catch, how many you can keep is clear the function of the rules and regs is handy.

June 3 issue is now fixed. Edit: June 2, 2025: I emailed about the problem on May 30th and just now added the problem using the app. May 30, 2025: I can't depend on this app for regulations anymore. I recommend to check DFO website before going out. When I chose any Rock Fish for area 23 today the app didn't show any retention info. Only shows closure for Pacific Rim National Park. I released several fish because of this, only to find out when I got home that DFO website shows rockfish are open.
