SportNet is the professional network built for sport — the LinkedIn for athletes. Build a credible profile, share your highlights and get discovered by coaches, scouts and teams. If you coach, scout or run a club, search a growing database of athletes by sport, position, level and region and message them directly. No agents, no middlemen, no fees.

Every sport, every level, worldwide: football, rugby, basketball, cricket, hockey, athletics, swimming, tennis, MMA, golf, cycling and many more, from grassroots and academy to university and professional.

THE AI PROFILE ASSISTANT
Describe your sporting life in your own words, typed or dictated, and the assistant organises it into profile sections. Nothing is saved until you review and accept each suggestion. Powered by Claude from Anthropic, and only after you give permission.

GET DISCOVERED
• Opt in to a scouting profile so verified coaches can find you.
• Scout search lets verified coaches filter athletes by sport, position, level and region.
• Following is one-way; connecting is mutual. Connections can message each other.
• A verified badge, backed by an ID check, so the people who contact you are who they say they are.

TEAMS
• Create or join a team, with join requests, invite links and codes.
• Post as the team to everyone who follows it, and run a team chat.
• Fixtures with results: add a fixture, the other team confirms, either side enters the score, and your season record and head-to-head build up automatically.
• Manage members and staff, and transfer ownership when needed.

EVENTS
• Trials, camps, games and recruiting events, in an agenda or on a map near you.
• RSVP, see who is going, set a reminder and add it to your calendar.
• Create your own events, with an optional capacity, weekly repeat and team link.

FEED, POSTS AND MESSAGING
• A feed of the athletes, coaches and teams you follow, not an algorithmic mix of strangers.
• Photos, video, tags, hashtags, reposts, playlists and one-tap translation.
• Direct messages and group chats with photos, voice notes, reactions and replies. Messages from people you are not connected to wait in Requests.

SAFE BY DESIGN
• Under-18 accounts are private by default and never show a date of birth.
• Choose who can see your profile: everyone, connections and coaches, connections only, or private.
• Block and report in one tap. Reports involving under-18s are reviewed the same day.
• Your health and physical data is only stored with your explicit permission.
