Worth the price tag! spendy up front but no monthly subscription makes up for it. AMAZING customer service. my 3 year old collar battery had issues, I contacted SpotOn, they sent me a prepaid mailing label for me to ship it to them, they replaced the battery AND GPS chip, mailed it back to me with a NEW charger/cable, all for FREE, and outside of warranty. Cannot say enough good things about this company and its products!

I've purchased 2 of these collars and had at least one of them replaced by warranty. They are all terrible. They work for a few weeks, then the tracking function works worse and worse. Before long, the collars will only update the location in the app every 5-15 minutes, which is nearly useless. It doesn't matter how many bars of service you see, the tracking just won't work well. Additionally, you can't send commands, such as the whistle, to the collar reliably.

We sincerely apologize for the trouble you've had with Tracking. Commands such as the whistle and flashlight require a good cell connection to work. The cellular component of the collar is fully optional and not needed for the collar to function or contain your dog. We'd be happy to take a look into this. Contact us at support@spotonfence.com.

the live tracking with the subscription is gold. I wish I could change the sounds the app makes for different notifications. like a siren for an escape from the fence. also, it'd be great to have known it needs some time to get the correct location. live tracking shows my dog in crazy places as it connects to satellites and he gets corrections, even if he's in a safe place. I'd also like to be able to set a reminder to charge the collar before it's too low, like overnight.
