We've had the spot on now for about three weeks. I had difficulty building a fence in my yard by dragging the screen. But walking the perimeter worked great. Our dog really took to the tones. I've worked with him on a training collar that uses tones. So when I walked the perimeter he picked up on what his responsibilities were very quickly. Twice around the yard and I turned him loose. He goes out from time to time but comes right back when he gets the vibration.

I've had a lot of trouble with my collars, they fixed things, now I'm working on my farm, and have my dog's are off hunting on their own, I pulled my phone out to check to see where they were, it wouldn't refresh 24 minutes no clue where they are, no matter how many times I tried to refresh, then tracking wouldn't toggle off once I found them, still don't think these collars are worth their price, they work until they don't. We switched stuff in the collars, I'm still waiting 4 improvements.

I was skeptical at first because we had trouble connecting to satellites. Turns out the cell phone was malfunctioning. We made several calls to customer service with questions, and they were very knowledgeable and patient! It took our energetic lab/beagle mix about a week to learn her boundaries. Now she runs free and loves it... and so do we! One tip: Follow Spot On's advice and always use treats when training. Small slices of hot dog, quartered, work like magic!
