I downloaded this app this morning thinking it was great, finding out cool places to eat and drink for when I go to Venice next week. I had some more time tonight to look at it again, and went to look up Florence as I will be travelling there also, only to see that I've to pay again?? Ridiculous. I wouldn't have minded paying a bit more for the app if it included everywhere, but to pay per city I think is a farce! Not very good at all.

This is a great app. I have used it for several cities already and I very much like the unconventional spots. The new version does not work at all for me while location is turned off and I cant add personal places like my hotel anymore. I like to prepare my trips and mark favourites in advance. Having to turn on location each time I open the app even though I'm nowhere near the city is putting me off though...

Since I discovered the Spotted by Locals app, my city trips are much more fun and interesting. I can finally get local suggestions for sightseeing, food, drinks, everything. I just love the way each spot is personalized by the local blogger. Looking forward to more cities to explore like a local, I'm sure I'll get inspired by the new cities coming up!
