About this app

The application has the objective of checking and pre-sizing the shoe, with an interface that is easy to interact with the user. Therefore, as a calculation one can cite:
- Calculation of admissible soil tension through soil type and Nspt;
- Geometric dimensioning of the shoe;
- Calculation of settlements (displacements);
- Dimensioning of the shoe reinforcement area.

Structural Calculus is the branch of Civil Engineering that studies the design of support structures in buildings. This branch of science aims to find the best dimensioning of systems or structural elements to support or transmit loads in an economical, safe and durable way. The main objective of the construction of any structure is to resist the loads applied to it, with stability and durability.

This application will perform the sizing calculations of reinforced concrete shoes on foundations of the base of buildings. Such structures represent a large part of the costs of a work, as their creation requires a lot of expensive equipment, a large volume of concrete and steel (elements with high value).
The proposed application can be used both in the design phase and, mainly, during the execution of the work to check the dimensioning measures.
