Sprecho is a voice typing keyboard for Android that turns speech into perfectly formatted text in any app. Talk instead of type, in your email, messages, notes, browser, or anywhere you write. Voice dictation that respects your privacy: 100% GDPR-compliant, hosted in Germany, no third-party AI providers, no keystrokes logged.

WHY SPRECHO

Most voice typing keyboards and dictation apps send your audio to American Big Tech, Whisper-style cloud services, or whichever AI model is cheapest that week. Sprecho is different. Voice processing happens on Sprecho-operated servers in the European Union (Germany and the Netherlands). No OpenAI, no Anthropic, no Google AI, no third-party speech to text vendor receives your audio or transcripts. A real Data Processing Agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR is available on request, the same one used by law firms, medical practices, and tax offices already running Sprecho on desktop.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Add Sprecho as your Android keyboard in Settings.
2. Tap and hold the microphone in any text field and speak.
3. Release. Your formatted text appears, with punctuation, capitalisation, and the right tone for the app you are in.

It is voice dictation as fast as a voice memo, but the result is ready-to-send text, not an audio file.

ACCESSIBILITY

Sprecho uses Android's AccessibilityService to insert dictated text into the focused text field of any app — for people with repetitive strain injury (RSI), motor impairments, dyslexia, low literacy, or anyone for whom voice input is faster than typing on a touch keyboard.

The service detects which text field is focused so dictated text lands correctly, then pastes it via the system paste action. It never logs or transmits keystrokes from the regular keyboard, never reads screen content beyond the focused field, never acts autonomously (only fires when you tap the microphone), and never operates in password, banking, or payment fields. Disable any time in Android Settings → Accessibility → Sprecho.
