It's exactly how a flashlight on a phone should function... on/off... done. My only criticism is I can't figure out how to shut the sound effect off and I suspect you can't. Often when you're trying to navigate in the dark, you're around sleeping people... so I have to lower the media volume before use. I'm not sure why this needs sound.
