About this app

Scan IDs, passports, contracts and receipts, and keep them encrypted on your phone only.

Document Vault is a document scanner and a locked vault in one app. Scan with the camera, or import a PDF or photo. Every page is encrypted on the device with AES-256. Nothing is uploaded to any server — there is no account and no cloud copy.

SCAN
- Auto edge detection with manual 4-corner crop and perspective fix
- Enhance modes: Original (no filter), black & white, colour, grayscale
- Multi-page documents, ID Card mode (front + back on one page), receipt mode
- Import PDFs and photos; split a multi-page PDF or keep it as one document

FIND IT FAST
- 21 categories (IDs & Passports, Payment Cards, Gift Cards, Receipts, Tax & Finance, and more), favourites, and your own custom categories
- Search titles and categories; Premium adds search inside scanned text — text recognition runs on the device, in English and Turkish, and never uploads anything
- Expiring-soon strip and reminders before passports, licences, and insurance expire, including the 6-month passport rule

KEEP IT PRIVATE
- PIN + fingerprint/face unlock, auto-lock, AES-256 encryption at rest
- Change the home-screen icon, choose from 4 themes
- Encrypted backup of the whole vault to a file you keep, with new-phone restore and a built-in backup check
- If you forget your PIN, verify with your Google account to reset it, or use the offline recovery code from setup

DO MORE WITH A DOCUMENT
- Merge documents, export a whole folder as one PDF, share or export a PDF with size presets (Portal under 2 MB, Balanced, Original) and a size estimate before you export
- Password-protected export saves an encrypted .enc file that opens only in Document Vault
- Add your hand-drawn signature to a PDF copy (a simple stamp, not a legal e-signature service)

Premium: unlimited documents, merge and folder export, password-protected export, unlimited signatures, unlimited custom categories, unlimited expiry reminders with 180/90/60/30-day alerts, and on-device text search — text extraction, search inside scanned text, and OCR .txt export.
