Stake is a running challenge focused on timing, reactions, and endurance. A character continuously moves forward while obstacles appear along the path. The objective is to jump over incoming obstacles and keep the run going for as long as possible.
In Stake, the character has three lives. Each collision with an obstacle costs one life, and the session continues until all lives have been used. Every decision matters, as maintaining a longer run increases the total distance traveled.
During gameplay, the number of meters covered is tracked continuously and serves as the main performance result. Distance records are saved and can be used to compare future attempts. Records are also preserved if the player exits to the menu or closes the application before returning later.
The gameplay is built around straightforward controls and continuous movement. Success depends on recognizing obstacles and reacting at the correct moment to clear them safely. Longer runs require sustained concentration and consistent timing.
When the application is minimized or the player switches to another task, the game automatically enters a paused state and displays a pause window. After returning, the player must close the pause window to continue from the same point.
Stake encourages players to improve their distance results, refine their timing, and challenge their previous achievements through repeated runs. Whether aiming for a personal best or simply extending a session a little further, every meter contributes to the overall record in Stake.
