About this app

Squad Ball — Live Rally Racing

Squad Ball brings your rally events to life. Follow every driver on a real-time map, time your run across each stage, and stay connected with your crew from the first checkpoint to the finish line.

Whether you're a driver, a co-driver, or a fan following the action, Squad Ball puts the whole event in your pocket.

🗺️ Live map tracking
See every participating driver move across the route in real time. During an event, drivers share their live location so the whole squad can see who's where — on stage, on the road, or at the next checkpoint.

🏁 Stages & checkpoints
Events are organised into days and stages, each with its own route, distance, and start/finish points. Start a stage, follow the geofenced checkpoints, and track your time, speed, and distance as you go.

👥 Driver & co-driver roles
Pair up as a driver and co-driver. Co-drivers ride along and follow the live map, while the driver's position is shared with the rest of the field.

💬 Event chat & group messaging
Every event gets its own group chat. Send messages, share photos, and coordinate with your team and fellow participants in real time — with typing indicators and read receipts.

📰 Community feed
Post updates, share photos from the rally, and like and comment on posts from the community.

🔔 Instant notifications
Get notified about event updates, new messages, and important announcements so you never miss a moment.

📍 About location sharing
Squad Ball uses your device's location — including in the background — so you can keep appearing live on the map during an event, even when the app isn't open (for example, while your phone is mounted and you're driving). Location is only collected while you're part of a live event and only after you turn sharing on. A notification is shown the entire time your location is being shared, and sharing stops automatically when the event ends or you switch it off. You're always in control from Settings.
