Great game. Not as good as the first one (-1), really really terrible controls (-2) for this port. This could have been a decent port. Performance is decent, after all. However... The port of the first game has 3 separate control options. This has 1, and tap-to-walk mixed with tap-to-interact is a bad combo. Not being able to adjust the painfully slow turn sensitivity just makes it worse. I lost track of how many times I wanted to interact and it walked halfway across the area.

First off, the game is addicting and has characters you will absolutely fall in love with and want more of. Max x Rachel x Chloe crossover, please! Edit: Most of the following issues are resolved or at least improved after episode 1. On the downside, the controls in this one are definitely much harder to use than they were in the original life is strange. In the original, everything was very fluid, and this one you have to tap and drag a million times to turn in any direction, and God help you if you get stuck in a corner, you will be there forever! And while you are getting stuck everywhere, the characters will be yelling at you, because they like to remind you way more often than necessary ( and way more often than in the original) of what they want you to be doing. The character movement is also more choppy than it was in the original, and there is some sort of issue with the graphics where at some points and some angles you will see white lines where are the different planes separate on the character. Interacting with objects is also harder now, you have to be a very specific angles for them to activate, even if you can see their menu beforehand. All of these things together are making for extremely frustrating gameplay after just coming off of the original game.

I enjoyed playing this game on consoles, so I was stoked to have a mobile version I can take wherever I go. I docked it two stars because firstly, I really dislike how you move around in this. Not only does it not always go where I want it to, but when I'm trying to interact with something it will register that as me wanting to move around... The camera turning is really slow as well. I'm more of a fan of snappy controls and this touch were you want to go isn't all that precise... Another thing that bothers me is some of the rendering will put really bright white pixelated outlines around characters and objects when they don't belong there. But that's a small gripe that I can get past. I like how the controls can be modified for an on-screen controller in the first LIS, it would be great if that can be done with this game. Then I'll give it a 5 :)
