SREDA is an Orthodox app for daily spiritual life: an Orthodox calendar and name days, prayers with audio, preparation for confession, and a spiritual diary—all in one convenient place, without unnecessary clutter or complicated words.
New — Service Navigator · β: helps you understand which part of the Liturgy is currently taking place. The assistant explains the church words in simple terms and doesn't replace the priest.
Open the app in the morning to understand what's important today: the church day, fast, commemoration of saints, daily readings, prayer, and a quick orientation.
SERVICE NAVIGATOR · BETA
• Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom: tells you which part is currently playing, what it is, and what will happen next.
• You can follow manually using the "Back" and "Next" buttons—this works offline—or turn on "Listen to the service."
• This is a beta version: the navigator may make mistakes and will honestly say "not sure," but you can choose your location.
• The microphone is activated only by pressing your button. Short audio snippets are transmitted to Yandex's SpeechKit service for speech recognition; SREDA does not store them.
• This is not the priest's voice or spiritual advice—it is only a hint to help you follow the service. The most important thing in church is prayer.
ORTHODOX CALENDAR
• Feasts, saints' remembrances, and why a particular saint is remembered — with illustrations
• Lent: fasting day, austerity, what you can eat
• Name days: who to congratulate today
• Daily readings — the Apostle and the Gospel
• Personal dates: baptism, wedding, commemoration — with a quiet reminder
PRAYER BOOK — READ AND LISTEN
• Prayer book at hand: 43 prayers, arranged according to when they are needed: morning, evening, anxiety, travel, gratitude, illness, before confession and Communion
• 33 of them are in Church Slavonic
• You can listen to any: all 43 are read aloud
• Psalm 50, Psalm 90, the Jesus Prayer, the Creed
BIBLE AND READINGS
• The complete Bible in the Synodal Translation: 66 books, 1192 chapters
• Psalter in Slavic numbering
• Bookmarks and continue reading where you left off
• Readable offline
PREPARATION FOR CONFESSION
• Calm questions for reflection—pause and collect your thoughts
• The Ten Commandments and Beatitudes are nearby
• A personal note remains on your device
• This is preparation, not an online confession. Confession takes place in church, with a priest.
PATHS AND SMALL ASCETIC WORKS
• Two seven-day Paths: "7 Days of Attention to Words and Thoughts" and "7 Days of Gratitude"
• One day—one small step, question, or practice
• No races, competitions, or counters
SPIRITUAL DIARY
• Thoughts, gratitude, difficulties, and intentions for tomorrow
• Entries are stored only on your device and are not sent anywhere
ORTHODOX ASSISTANT
• Explains a feast, fast, prayer, or church sermon in plain language
• Helps you choose a prayer and gather your thoughts before confession
• Does not confess, bless, or replace a priest
