About this app

Voxly is a keyboard you can talk to. Hold the mic, say what you mean, and it types into whatever app you're already in — WhatsApp, Gmail, Instagram, Messages, anything. No copying, no switching apps.

SPEAK ONE LANGUAGE, WRITE ANOTHER
Say it in Malayalam, send it in Danish. Say it in Hindi, send it in English. You pick the language that comes out, and Voxly writes it right where you're typing. 22 languages.

CHECK BEFORE YOU SEND
When Voxly writes in a language you can't read, it shows you what the message says in English first. You send knowing what you sent.

PLAIN ENGLISH, OR HOW YOU ACTUALLY TEXT
Voxly writes plain, direct English by default — what you want for work messages and email. Tap once for Gen Z mode and it rewrites the same words the way people actually text.

Slide your finger across the letters and Voxly works out the word. Lift off and it's typed, with the next best guesses waiting above the keys. Available on the English keyboard.

TYPE IN YOUR OWN SCRIPT
Full keyboards for Malayalam, Hindi, Marathi, Nepali, Bengali, Punjabi, Gujarati, Telugu, Kannada, Arabic and Urdu. Every letter is on the board, in the order you learned the alphabet — no hunting through menus for a letter you can already picture.

Tap a consonant on an Indian script and the vowel keys change to show the vowel signs that go with it, so the keyboard always shows what it's about to type.

Danish, Norwegian and Swedish get their own letters too. å, æ, ø, ä and ö are keys, not something you hold another key to find.

OR JUST SPELL IT OUT
Don't know where the letters are? Type in English letters and Voxly offers you the script. Type "onnu" and it offers ഒന്ന്. It suggests real words as you type instead of converting letter by letter, so you get the word you meant.

What you typed stays in the message unless you tap a suggestion — write in English letters all the way through and reach for the script only where you want it. Malayalam ships with a built-in word list; the other scripts convert as you type.

SUGGESTIONS THAT LEARN YOU
Voxly picks up the words you actually type, including words in your own language that are in no dictionary anywhere. It never rewrites a word behind your back — suggestions are offered, and applied only when you tap one.

Typing is free. Only voice messages use credits.

YOUR PRIVACY
- Your voice is sent over an encrypted connection and the recording is deleted as soon as your text is ready. It's never stored.
- What you type stays on your device. The one exception is a word typed into GIF search, which has to be sent to find results.
- Your transcribed text is never saved or logged on our side.
- Delete your account from inside the app, any time. Deletion is immediate.
