Radio S is an online space led by young people to express themselves, their opinions, needs and demands through podcasts and live talk shows. Y represents a space for youth leadership in a participatory approach based on increased knowledge of audio content.

We young people face many challenges, lack spaces to express ourselves, and feel isolated and bored. Since we feel that we are neither well expressed nor presented in the media, where the media do not recognize our voices, Radio S comes to be our window in expressing ourselves. It is our voice, our image and our echo.

We want to always provide joy, we want to listen to good music, we want our voices to reach everywhere, we want to express ourselves freely, we want to learn from and reflect on our experiences. Y is our space to do all that and connect with other young people from all over Jordan.

R was created by the Women's Association for Cultural Development (Namaa) as part of other projects within the framework of Social Participation and Youth Social Participation (SPACE) with the support of the German Cooperation for International Cooperation (GIZ).
