What is a mock test/test series : Mock tests/test series are those tests in which the number of questions is equal to the number of questions appearing in the actual examination. In a mock test/test series, the total time is equal to the time given in the actual exam. Like the actual exam, questions are also given in different parts in mock tests/test series. In mock tests/test series, the result of mock test/test series is shown after giving mock test. Users are not able to see the result of mock test before the mock test/test series is completed. Mock tests/test series are a model paper designed on the basis of the exam and its format is like the actual exam. Hence mock tests/test series are prepared on the basis of the actual test, using which the user can improve their preparation for the exam even more.

SSC Constable GD Exam Pattern
Mode of examination: CBT : Computer Based Test (MCQ)
Duration: 60 minutes
Number of Questions: 80
Total marks: 160
Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, 1/8 marks will be deducted.
Parts of SSC Constable GD Examination: (i) General intelligence and reasoning (ii) General Awareness & General Science (iii) Arithmetic (iv) General Hindi or General English

General Intelligence and Reasoning: It would include questions of non-verbal type. The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.
Numerical Aptitude: Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
General Awareness: Matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc. Mock Tests or Practice Sets available for all above topics, separately. Every Mock test or practice set contains most valuable Questions.
