The Shishyadara program provides subsidized books and school supplies to underprivileged children across the country. Eligible recipients include students studying in schools with fewer than 300 students, pirivenas, child development centers, and orphanages.

· Eligibility and Approval:

A new Shishyadara User must register and go through an approval process. Their respective School Principal will enter the details of the children and will approve by the Zonal Educational Director.

For a Merchant who wishes to onboard with the Shishyadara programme, they must register and go through a single level approval by the relevant authorities.

· Benefits:

Approved children, can redeem benefits at onboarded merchants by scanning a QR Code or providing a Reference ID. Any amount that exceeds the subsidy, can be paid in cash.
