Start small. Read the swarm. Become the threat.

Massward turns the instantly understandable “eat smaller, avoid larger” rule into
a solo survival roguelite built for one thumb. Steer through a living arena,
absorb smaller organisms, and split at exactly the right moment to catch prey—then
survive while your vulnerable fragments recombine.

Every run follows a visible pressure cycle. Grow during Calm. Read the hunters
during the Hunt. When the Apex arrives, watch its charge, sidestep, and fight for
the next Depth.

BUILD A DIFFERENT ORGANISM

Draft mutagens during each run to change speed, absorption, wards, split force,
recombination, and yield. Invest earned Biomass in permanent mutations, then use
mutagen shards in the Splice Lab to favor a gene or expand future draft choices.
