About this app

This is a learning app for practicing subjects A-1, A-2, and B of the Professional Digital Skills (Systems) Examination (tentative name). It includes all 3,865 questions with explanations from the morning session of the former Applied Information Technology Engineer Examination and the morning session II of the former System Architect, Network Specialist, and Embedded Systems Specialist Examinations.

The Professional Digital Skills Examination (tentative name) is a new examination planned by the IPA to begin in fiscal year 2027, reorganizing the Applied Information Technology Engineer Examination and advanced examinations. For subject A-1 practice, 33 sessions of the morning session from the former Applied Information Technology Engineer Examination are used. For subject A-2 practice, 49 sessions of the morning session II from the former three examinations are used. For subject B, 6 sample questions released by the IPA can be solved on a screen that displays diagrams, text, and questions side-by-side. Since the passing criteria and implementation schedule are not yet finalized, the content will be reviewed in accordance with the IPA's announcements.

■ Features for this exam
- Subject B consists of 6 official IPA sample questions (Requirements Definition, Cloud, IoT, WebSocket, Physical Computing, Agile Development). The text and diagrams are fixed at the top, and the questions and answer choices are arranged below for solving. The boundary can be changed by dragging.
- For combinations of blanks a-f, selecting the correct answer for each blank will eliminate incorrect combinations. Combinations of descriptive (I) can also be narrowed down with ○/×.
- After checking the answers, for each combination, there is an explanation of why it doesn't work, the IPA's intent for the questions, and a link to old morning II questions on the same theme.
- Calculation drill: Subnets, utilization rate, transmission time, queuing, etc., can be presented as many times as you like by changing the numbers. After checking the answers, the solution steps are displayed line by line.
- Check the IPA's published information under "Things that have been decided and things that are yet to be decided" on the Home page, including the source and the date of last confirmation.
- Practice exam assuming the new format: Subject A-1 equivalent is 60 questions from the old AP morning session, 90 minutes; Subject A-2 equivalent is 23 questions from the old morning II session, 37 minutes (estimate, not including Subject B). Each subject is judged with a 60% target for practice.
