[VPN Service Notice (Android VpnService Usage)]

TripTok provides a WireGuard-based VPN feature, built on Android's
VpnService API, as a core function of the app. It enables travelers
abroad to access Korea-based services (banking, identity verification,
OTT, etc.) that require a Korean IP address.

• Purpose: As part of our eSIM connectivity service, the VPN provides
a Korean IP routing tunnel for travelers who need access to
Korea-based internet services from overseas.
• How it works: The VPN is activated only when the user explicitly
taps the [Connect] button in the in-app VPN tab. Android's standard
VpnService.prepare() system dialog is then shown to obtain the
user's explicit consent. The user can disconnect at any time from
within the app or from system settings.
• Encryption: All traffic between the device and our VPN server is
end-to-end encrypted using the WireGuard protocol
(ChaCha20-Poly1305).
• Data practices: We collect only the WireGuard public key, the
assigned IP address, and aggregated data usage (GB) for plan-limit
management. We do NOT log or store browsing history, visited
domains, or traffic content. We do NOT sell or share user data
with third parties.
• Policy compliance: No ad fraud, no permission abuse, no traffic
redirection for monetization, no malware behavior. Fully compliant
with all Google Play Developer Program Policies.
