About this app

Pangée brings together major French public geoscience databases on a single map: geological maps, groundwater, hydrology, soils, boreholes, and contaminated sites and soils.

Pangaée is an independent application. It is neither published, endorsed, nor affiliated with any government entity or public service.

QUERY THE MAP
Interact with the map: a record gathers information from each active layer at that location, whether it's a description of a geological formation, a record of an industrial facility, or a water quality measurement. The layers are not simply images: their data can be viewed, expanded, and compared.

YOUR OWN DATA
Add your points with notes and coordinates, organize them into folders, and import or export your GIS files (GeoJSON, GPX, KML, Shapefile) to overlay them with the layers or share them.
