Staked helps you stop viewing pornography by turning your intention into a
commitment you can't quietly walk away from.

Most blockers fail for the same reason: you can switch them off the moment you want to. Staked is different. You set a commitment period and back it with your own money. Honor it, and your money is returned to you in full. Break it, and you forfeit it. That's the whole idea — a real consequence, chosen by you, in advance, while you're thinking clearly.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Create a commitment. Choose how long it runs and how much of your own money backs it.
2. Link your devices — Android, Windows, and macOS.
3. Staked enforces it. Pornographic sites are blocked, and pornographic content on screen is detected and blocked in real time.
4. Complete the period and your deposit is returned to you.

WHAT STAKED DOES ON YOUR DEVICE
• DNS filtering blocks known pornographic domains device-wide.
• On-device screen detection catches pornographic images as they appear —
including content a domain blocklist alone would miss.
• Turning protection off while a commitment is live is recorded.

YOUR PRIVACY
All screen analysis happens ON YOUR DEVICE. Your screen is never uploaded, stored, or shared. Staked does not read your text, your passwords, or your messages. Apps that protect their own screens — such as banking apps — cannot be captured at all.

VPN SERVICE
Staked uses Android's VpnService to run a local, on-device DNS filter that blocks known pornographic websites before they load. This is the DNS filtering described above. It is NOT a general-purpose VPN: it does not route, proxy, monitor, or collect your internet traffic, it does not hide your IP address, and it sends no browsing data to us or anyone else. It only redirects DNS to a content-filtering resolver to enforce the commitment you set. You consent to it through Android's system prompt when you enable protection.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
Staked uses Android's Accessibility Service to see which app is currently on
screen and to capture the screen for on-device content detection. This is
required to enforce the commitment you set. It is enabled only by you, only
after an explicit in-app disclosure and your consent.

IMPORTANT
• Staked is a self-control tool. It monitors only the person who set it up, on
their own device, with their consent. It is not for monitoring anyone else.
• There is nothing to win and no element of chance. The money is your own, and you get it back by keeping the commitment you set for yourself.
• Some banking apps refuse to run while any accessibility service is enabled.

Staked also runs on Windows and macOS, so your commitment can cover the devices you actually use.
