Staked: Porn Blocker

Staked LLC

About this app

Staked is a porn blocker with real money behind it. You stake your own cash on
staying clean. Finish your commitment and you get it back. Relapse, and you
lose it.

⚠️ SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT FIRST
This app is the Android watcher for Staked. It won't do anything on its own.
Create your account and start a commitment at https://usestaked.com, then
install this app and link your device. Takes about five minutes.

WHY BLOCKERS STOP WORKING

You have probably installed a porn blocker before. You probably uninstalled it
too. Not because it was bad software — because removing it cost you ninety
seconds and nothing else. At 1am, an immediate urge beats a vague future
benefit every single time.

Staked changes what is on the other side of that decision. Bypassing the block
does not cost you ninety seconds. It costs you money, tonight.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Create a commitment at usestaked.com and choose your stake. Pick an amount
that would genuinely hurt to lose.
2. Install this app and link it to your account.
3. Live your life. Nothing to check in with, no streak to log.
4. Finish and your stake is refunded to the same card. Relapse or disable the
protection and it is forfeited, after a 72-hour hold during which you can
appeal.

WHAT THIS APP DOES ON YOUR PHONE

• Blocks known porn sites at the DNS level, across every browser and app
• Detects explicit content that gets past the block, on any app — social feeds,
messengers, downloaded files, private browsing
• Notices if protection is switched off and reports it to your commitment

NO ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNER NEEDED

Most tools in this category require another human to receive reports on what you
looked at. Staked does not. Nobody reads anything. If you want to quit without
telling anyone, this is built for you.

YOUR PRIVACY

Detection runs entirely on your own device. No screenshots are uploaded, no
screen is streamed, and no person ever reviews your activity. Flagged images
stay in local storage that only you can open. Our servers receive a numeric
score and a one-way fingerprint — never the image itself.

The detector is deliberately narrow. It responds only to explicit nudity, so
ordinary browsing, swimwear, beach photos, gym content and medical material
cannot trigger it.

PERMISSIONS

• Accessibility Service — required to see what is on screen so content can be
detected and blocked. This is the core function of the app.
• VPN — used only to run local DNS filtering on your device. No traffic is
routed to any external server and nothing is logged.

BEFORE YOU INSTALL

• Requires a Staked account and an active subscription (14-day free trial)
• Your stake is separate from the subscription and is fully refundable if you
complete your commitment
• Some banking apps ask you to turn off accessibility services. Doing that
during an active commitment is treated as disabling protection
• Detection covers this phone. It cannot see other devices — install the
Windows watcher too if you use a computer
