SQUID allows you to collect loyalty stamps on your phone in participating cafes, restaurants and salons across Ireland and the UK. Simply tap your phone on the SQUID tag at the checkout to collect your stamp!

All your loyalty cards are stored in your SQUID digital wallet so you always have your loyalty cards to hand and never lose them. Rewards can also be redeemed directly from the app.

Use the Discover feature to see where you can use SQUID. This is constantly updated as we add more businesses to the platform.

With SQUID, you can also discover special offers and pre-buy coffees and more with exclusive member prices.

Used to be useful - just a really handy loyalty card app for coffee shops. Now it's also doing some weird "Wave" loyalty points purchase thing with some stores, and that new interface obscures the coffee shops' loyalty cards. Dismiss a notification from the Wave thing, and it immediately sends you a new notification you also have to dismiss. Annoying! Do one thing well, not two things badly!

In theory, Squid is a good idea, effectively replacing physical cards with stamps, from various outlets, and combining them into a single app. In practice it has always been a bit fiddly to use, but the Wave points thing adds a whole new level of complication and extra effort. I really can't be arsed to buy a gift token for Tesco prior to doing my shopping so I can earn points.

I wasted time downloading the app because my Samsung phone won't let squid points added for all the coffees I have purchased. I can get points on squid if I prepay for a lidl voucher, however NOT all the coffees I buy. Very unfair 😒
