ASTRO-LOCK: AR THAT DOESN'T DRIFT
Most sky apps rely on the compass, which can be off by more than ten degrees. StarDar recognises the star pattern in the camera image and calibrates the scene against the sky itself. The result: the object sits where you see it, not next to it.
ALERTS WORTH GETTING
Notifications for International Space Station (ISS) passes, aurora chances, meteor shower peaks and planetary conjunctions. Computed for your location and checked against the cloud forecast, so the alert stays quiet when the sky is covered.
ARIA - YOUR ASTRONOMY ASSISTANT
Ask by voice or text: "what is that bright star above the house?", "when can I see Saturn?". Aria answers on your device, using the app's own calculation engines - it does not invent numbers.

Under a dark sky a white screen destroys your dark adaptation for ten minutes or more. StarDar's night mode removes practically all green and blue from the screen - it does not just dim, it changes the spectrum.
