About this game

stacz is a falling block puzzle where nothing clears on its own. You have to wire the board first.

Black and white pieces fall from above onto a 9×12 grid. Tap to rotate. Swipe to slide. Swipe down to drop. But filling a row does nothing here. Colors do the work.

Land a cell directly on top of a same-color cell from an earlier piece, and the whole vertically connected chain becomes charged — a glowing outline runs down the column. Drop another same-color piece onto that charged chain, and everything connected detonates at once.

Then gravity takes over. Cells above collapse down, and if they land on more same colors, they charge or clear too — cascading chain reactions from a single well-placed drop.

Prime. Detonate. Cascade. Every piece is two decisions at once: am I laying wire, or am I lighting the fuse? A lazy drop is a wasted piece. A smart one takes out half the board.

COMBO STREAK SYSTEM
Your streak doesn't reset between pieces — it rolls as long as every drop keeps triggering clears. Ten consecutive clearing pieces mean a ×10 multiplier on everything you earn:

1st clear: 10 points per cell
2nd clear: 20 points per cell (×2)
10th clear: 100 points per cell (×10)

Streak only resets when a piece lands without clearing anything

SCORING
Base: 10 points per cell cleared
Multiplier: × current streak
Clear the entire board: +100 bonus points

THREE DIFFICULTY LEVELS
Difficulty shifts three things at once: fall speed, the rising floor, and how often pieces arrive pre-mixed with both colors.

Easy: Slow fall. No rising floor. Mostly single-color pieces — perfect for learning the charge-and-clear system.

Normal: Faster fall. A row rises from below every 10 pieces. Half the pieces are mixed-color.

Hard: Fast fall. Floor rises every 5 pieces. Most pieces are mixed-color — planning becomes everything.

FEATURES
Tap to rotate — plan the chain before you commit

Cascade physics — cleared cells make everything above fall and chain again

Haptic feedback scales with your combo — small clears tap, big combos punch

Auto-save — close anytime, pick up the same stack later

HOW TO PLAY
Tap to rotate the falling piece clockwise

Swipe ← → to move, swipe ↓ to fast-drop

Stack a cell on top of a same-color cell to charge the column

Drop another same-color piece onto a charged chain to clear it

Game ends when the stack reaches the top

stacz is for players who love falling block puzzles but want more than stacking rows. Every cell you place is a potential fuse — and every drop is the decision whether to light it.

Easy to learn. Hard to master. How long can you keep a streak alive?
