About this game

Blockdrop is a block puzzle you can pick up for thirty seconds or an hour.

Drag blocks onto the 8x8 board. Fill a whole row or column and it clears. There
is no timer and nothing chasing you — the only pressure is the space you have
left. The game ends when none of your three pieces fit, so every placement is a
decision about the shape of the board, not just the move in front of you.

WEEKLY TOURNAMENT
Every player in the world gets the same bag of pieces each week, dealt in your
own order. Nobody gets a luckier bag, and nobody can copy someone else's game
move for move. Retry as often as you like — your best score counts. Scores are
replayed on our server before they reach the leaderboard, so the board is real.

THREE DIFFICULTIES
Easy hands you more small pieces and room to breathe. Hard is heavy on the
awkward shapes and the 3x3 square. Each keeps its own high score, and Hard is
worth more per point.

HIGH SCORES
An all-time leaderboard for normal games, one for each difficulty.

MAKE IT YOURS
Earn gems by clearing lines and completing daily goals, then spend them on six
colour themes and six block styles — Classic, Flat, Bevel, Glass, Pixel and
Neon. Gems also buy a hint or a second chance if you would rather not watch an
ad for one.

FAIR ABOUT ADS
Ads that interrupt you are capped and never appear mid-game. Optional ads are
exactly that — you choose to watch one for a hint or an extra life. One
purchase removes the interrupting ads for good and unlocks every theme and block
style. Optional ads still work afterwards, because they were never the annoying
part.

Plays offline. Your board is saved when you leave, so you can put it down
mid-game and pick it up later.

What’s new

Fixes a rare problem where a Remove Ads purchase might not be restored correctly on a new phone or after reinstalling. No action needed — your purchase is safe.
