About this app

Finding a job in hospitality still means sending the same CV to twenty different places and waiting. empl-o turns that on its head: job offers come to you sorted by how well they match you, you apply with a tap, and you see what happens next.

AFFINITY, NOT A LIST
empl-o doesn't show you job offers in the order they arrive. It cross-references your city, the positions you're looking for, and your preferred work schedule with each offer and puts the ones that truly match you at the top. Activate "Near me" and sort by distance. Set an alert, and we'll notify you as soon as a new one appears.

YOUR PROFILE IS YOUR CV
A few lines about you, your experience, languages, availability, and a photo. You write it once, and it's valid for all your applications: no PDFs or duplicate forms. And it has a public link to send via WhatsApp or post it wherever you want.

AVAILABILITY AT A GLANCE
"Available now," "starting in November," or "just looking." The business sees your application before contacting you, and you stop receiving irrelevant messages.

KNOW WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU APPLY
The biggest obstacle when looking for a job is silence. On empl-o, each application shows its status: received, being called, on trial, hired. We notify you when the business moves you to the next stage and when they've viewed your profile.

CHAT WITH THE BUSINESS WITHOUT GIVING AWAY YOUR NUMBER
A chat with each business that contacts you, with photos and a "Seen" notification when they've read your message. You only share your phone number if you want to.

BUSINESSES YOU FOLLOW
Follow the businesses where you'd like to work and find out about their job openings before anyone else.

YOU DECIDE YOUR NOTIFICATIONS
What you receive and how—push notifications or email—for each type of notification: new job postings, messages, and status updates. Available in Spanish and English.

empl-o is state-o's team app. Local businesses post their job openings and manage candidates through host-o and state-o.com. You just need to specify what you're looking for.
