How much does your car really cost you? Gas, diesel, hybrid or electric.
Staticar works out your fuel economy and your cost per mile or kilometer, fuel and electricity alike, keeps your service log and reminds you before the insurance renewal, the oil change or the next inspection.
▸ FUEL ECONOMY, FILL-UP AFTER FILL-UP
• Log a fill-up in seconds: amount, price per unit or volume, station, odometer prefilled.
• Fuel economy from full tank to full tank: a partial fill-up counts toward the next full one. In mpg (US gallons) for a vehicle set to miles, in L/100 km otherwise.
• Forgot a fill-up? Tick the box: the figure restarts from this fill-up instead of being underestimated.
▸ ELECTRIC CARS AND HYBRIDS
• Powertrain and fuel per vehicle; optional second tank (combustion or hybrid vehicle, e.g. LPG + gasoline).
• Electric or plug-in hybrid: log your charging sessions in kWh with their price and where you charged (home, public charger, work or free).
• Efficiency in mi/kWh for a vehicle set to miles, kWh/100 km otherwise, from full charge to full charge, and electricity cost per mile.
• Plug-in hybrid: fuel and electricity each get their own consumption, over the whole distance driven.
• The kWh are the ones you enter: Staticar doesn't read your car or the charger.
▸ LOG IT IN ONE SENTENCE
• Type "12.5 gallons $43.20 at 56,789 miles", "32 kWh $9.60" or "oil change $89", or dictate it with your keyboard's mic: the form fills itself, you check it, then add it.
• Long-press the Staticar icon to add a fill-up, a charge (plug-in vehicle), maintenance or an expense, or to see upcoming due dates.
▸ YOUR REAL COST PER MILE
• All expenses included, and energy alone (fuel and charging), over the last 12 months.
• Dashboard: total and monthly average, breakdown by category, 12-month trends, average yearly mileage.
• Average fuel price (weighted by volume) and average price per kWh.
▸ REMINDERS AS NOTIFICATIONS
• Inspection, insurance renewal, oil change, tires, timing belt, vignette or annual toll pass, or a custom reminder.
• By date or by mileage: 30 days before, 7 days before and on the day, or 500 km before the due mileage. "Snooze 1 week" from the notification.
• The inspection reminder follows the French schedule (first test 4 years after registration, then every 2 years; motorcycles 5, then 3). If yours differs, set a custom reminder on your own date.
▸ SERVICE LOG AND EXPENSES
• Maintenance, repairs, insurance, tolls, parking, registration… Recurring expenses are added on their date.
• Search your whole history: notes, station, garage, amount.
• A vehicle's maintenance log as a PDF: every service with its date, mileage, garage and cost, then the total. Handy when you sell.

• If Android backup is turned on, it may include Staticar's data, depending on your Google account settings.
