About this app
Local AI. Private typing. Your words, your way.
KeyTone is an offline AI keyboard for Android that helps you fix spelling, rewrite sentences, draft messages and choose the right tone. Its on-device AI processes your writing locally, without sending your text to a cloud AI service.
PRIVACY BUILT INTO YOUR KEYBOARD
KeyTone does not request internet or network-state permission. AI writing and dictionary suggestions work on your phone, with no ads, typing history or cloud AI fallback. AI tools are disabled in password fields. You review every result and decide what to insert; KeyTone never sends messages automatically. Text inserted into another app is handled by that app.
FIND THE RIGHT WORDS
Select text, tap Fix spelling, or choose a tone such as Professional, Casual, Friendly, Warm, Confident, Polite or Concise. Preview the rewrite before replacing your sentence. Selected-text access depends on the app you are using.
DRAFT MESSAGES AND REPLIES
Use AI write to compose inside the keyboard. Ask Draft me for a loving message, a polite request or a thank-you. Paste a message with “Respond to this:” to create a reply, then review and edit it before inserting. Ask AI offers local answers without web access; check important facts.
EVERYDAY TYPING, YOUR WAY
See up to eight word choices in a scrollable suggestion strip. Context-aware predictions use the words before your cursor to suggest what comes next, alongside offline English spelling suggestions, optional autocorrect after Space, glide typing and Undo. Turn automatic correction or slide typing on or off in Settings. Personalize your keyboard with themes including black, grey and gold designs.
OFFLINE VOICE TYPING WITH PRO
Speak in English and see a live transcript preview while recording. Dictate messages or use Voice input inside AI write for Draft me and Ask AI. Review the final transcript before inserting. Microphone permission is optional. Audio stays on your phone and is not saved as a recording.
FREE TO TRY, PRO WHEN YOU WANT MORE
Everyday typing, four themes and five successful AI rewrites are included free. Draft me and Ask AI share one successful free preview. A one-time KeyTone Pro purchase unlocks unlimited AI use, offline voice typing and every theme. The separate Google Play app requires internet for purchases and restoration; your writing is not sent to it.
OFFLINE AI, READY ON YOUR PHONE
The local AI model is included in the download. Initial preparation needs approximately 1.5 GB of extra free storage after installation. Generation speed depends on your device. English QWERTY keyboard; AI works best in English. Android 11 or newer required.
