The Clara AR Picture Book app is a digital picture book app that reconstructs the world of the picture book "Clara and the Imagination Tree" using AR (Augmented Reality) and animation, creating an experience that makes you feel like you've stepped into the story.

The protagonist, Clara, travels the world using her "power of imagination," meeting various places and friends, and growing through discoveries. Children can experience the gently expanding world of the story at their own pace.

When you scan the pages of the picture book or the dedicated AR cards with your camera, characters and backgrounds come to life in your space, and you can enjoy moving them with taps and swipes. A fantastical underwater scene and effects where sound and movement are synchronized create an immersive experience through sight and touch. Some scenes feature 2D animation to enhance the storytelling experience.

The original picture book, "Clara and the Imagination Tree," tells the story of the creative journey leading to the creation of the Osaka-Kansai Expo's signature pavilion, "The Jellyfish Pavilion: A Playground for Life," from the perspective of imagination and play. This app is based on the world of that picture book and does not recreate the pavilion experience itself.

This app is designed not only for parent-child storytelling but also as an entry point to inquiry-based learning, encouraging children to move, feel, and think for themselves. There are no logins, in-app purchases, advertisements, or user data collection. It can be enjoyed safely at home.
