Would like the ability to take photo of item and having barcode added to a database as many items don't show up based on barcode alone. Would also love for items that I have scanned to be added to my regular library of some sort to choose from if I don't buy it a while from now. Love that it is helping me eliminate the food (aka eat it) before it becomes waste!
Hello! Thank you for the valuable feedback, we are looking into adding support for personal photos. We have also taken note of the item history idea. We are very happy to hear that the app is helping you reduce your food waste :)

Not Bad at all. Id like to see some additional features... 1. Ability to classify foods by types ie. dairy, protein, vegetables etc. So you can search by type or see what type you're missing 2. Ability to sort into location ie. 1st shelf, 2nd shelf , top shelf. So you can browse without opening the fridge. 3. Additional quantity types. 50% full, 25 full, 1/2, 1/4 to see whats running out 4. Suggested expiration dates for produce and meat ie. Lettuce 4 days from purchase.

My wife and I just installed. and we can share not the smoothest, especially with the mandatory ads, makes it hard to group. and has we had to do it several times before it worked. Besides that its pretty slick. Was wondering if the barcode database could be populated by a source other than crowd sourcing? ask because I can see area for people not being cool with what they upload for all to use. Lastly, the grouping of freezer pantry cupboard, can we add to it. I'd like freezer upstairs, freezer downstairs or fridge one/two sorta thing.

Hi there, sorry for the ads in the group section, it is the only area of the app that we could use without interrupting users on the key features. We are using a food database as backup with 1.2m items already. User created sections are on our list of features to add. Please do email us at support@steljoy.com if you'd like to discuss this further.
