About this app

PrepBox — your autonomy, organized.

PrepBox is a complete app for anyone who wants to organize an emergency stockpile — whether you're a "prepper" or simply someone who values your family's safety and self-sufficiency in the face of the unexpected. Also it helps you to keep your place organized, controls expiration date and much more.

Your data never leaves your phone: PrepBox doesn't even request internet permission. It's not a promise, it's verifiable in your device's Settings.

With PrepBox you can:

Know exactly how many days of autonomy your family has — the app calculates food and water separately and highlights which one is your real bottleneck.
Track the expiration of every item automatically, based on the storage method you use (Mylar, vacuum sealing, freezer, glass jars, and more), using data from Brazil's TACO food composition table (Unicamp).
Organize essential equipment (generators, communication, water, cooking) with periodic test checklists, so you never find out something stopped working only when the emergency hits.
Log first-aid items based on guidelines from the Brazilian Red Cross and Brazil's Ministry of Health — no dosage or usage instructions, just organization and rotation.
Track consumable supplies, like fuel and gas, with a visual stock level indicator.
Plan from scratch or expand an existing stockpile: set how many days of autonomy you want to reach, and PrepBox calculates what's missing and generates a smart shopping list.
Physically label your items with a unique tracking code, so you can find anything in the app in seconds.
Generate PDF reports — full inventory or expiration reports by period — ready to print and keep with your stockpile.
Import and export your data as a CSV spreadsheet.
Protect your backup with real encryption (AES-256), because emergency stockpile data is sensitive data, and we treat it that way.

All of PrepBox's recommendations are based on recognized sources — TACO (Unicamp), FEMA, CDC, FAO/WHO, the Brazilian Red Cross, and Brazil's Ministry of Health — not guesswork.

PrepBox — Be Ready.

What’s new

The autonomy number on the main screen is now tappable and show the calculation done to get the number. Better explanation on the app about what happens to the data after trial ends.
