Every five seconds, the world takes a snapshot of itself.
You can step into that recording at any moment - and step back out again. The
bridge that just collapsed is still standing five seconds ago. The door that
slammed shut in front of you is wide open in the past. The drone hunting you now
was somewhere else entirely a moment ago, and in the snapshot it is frozen there,
harmless.
Time Snapshot is a physics puzzle platformer built entirely around that one idea.
There is no rewind and no undo. There are two versions of the world running side
by side, and the only way forward is to keep choosing the right one.
READ BOTH WORLDS AT ONCE
Everything that exists in the timeline you are not standing in is drawn as a
faint outline. You can always see where the ground will appear, and where the
wall will close in. Shifting is never a gamble - it is a decision, and the clock
is the pressure.
BUT DO NOT SHIFT INTO A WALL
If the space you occupy is solid in the other timeline, the shift kills you. And
when the next snapshot is taken, the world you are standing in changes around
you. Learn to feel the five second beat, or install a Phase Stabilizer and buy
yourself one mistake.
REAL PHYSICS, REAL MOMENTUM
Your core is a body with weight. Speed builds up, inertia carries you, bounce
pads launch you, moving platforms drag you along, and every bit of that momentum
survives a jump between timelines. Shift in mid air and you keep your arc.
NEVER THE SAME RUN TWICE
Levels are generated from hand-built chambers - phase bridges, timed gates,
patrolling drones, spike runs, bounce shelves, hovering elevators, piston halls
and slaloms of flickering pillars. Every chamber is designed so that it is always
solvable in one of the two timelines, and every cleared level builds a longer,
faster, denser one.
SPEND WHAT YOU SURVIVE WITH
Coins you collect buy six energy cores to play as, and six upgrades that change
how you run: extra lives, phase stabilizers, a coin magnet, sharper air control,
a coin refinery and a faster shift. Chrono shards are worth serious score, three
per level, and they are never on the safe path.
