TYPING PRACTICE INFORMATION

The official WBPSC Clerkship Examination 2023 advertisement specifies an English typing ability of 20 words per minute.

For practice, this app also offers a 10-minute, 200-word English typing simulation based on historical WBPSC Computer Type Test instructions for the Clerkship Examination 2019.

Historical practice scoring:
Practice marks = credited typed words − (0.33 × major mistakes) − (0.15 × minor mistakes)

Those historical instructions also specified 140 marks as the qualifying threshold for the English Computer Type Test.

IMPORTANT

The 10-minute format, scoring method, mistake classification, and qualifying indication in this app are practice simulations based on historical WBPSC instructions. They do NOT confirm the rules for Clerkship Examination 2023 or any future examination.

Only WBPSC can publish or confirm official examination rules.

Results shown in this app are practice results only. They are not official WBPSC results and do not determine whether a candidate has passed, failed, qualified, or become eligible for recruitment.
