About this app

Stepaside Studios is the private, members-only app for our dance studio community — one calm, safe place for everything that used to be scattered across group chats, emails and paper notes.

It's just for us: studio admins, teachers, parents and dancers. It isn't a public social network, strangers can't find you here, and the studio approves every new member before they get in.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Class feed — announcements, photos and videos from your dancer's classes, plus studio-wide news.
• Chat — message the studio and class groups without swapping personal phone numbers.
• Events — RSVP to concerts, workshops and studio dates.
• Competitions — dance call times, running order and results when they're published.
• Photos and videos — class moments, shared only inside the studio community.
• Notifications — a gentle nudge for what matters.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Approved members only — the studio confirms every account.
• Photos of your dancer are OFF by default and only appear if you turn that on.
• Parents manage their dancers' details and privacy; from age 15 a dancer can manage their own settings.
• Mobile numbers are never shown to other members.
• Download a copy of your data, or delete your account and its data, in the app.
• No ads. No third-party tracking. We never sell your data.

Your information is stored securely in Australia and encrypted in transit and at rest.

Stepaside Studios is joined by invitation from the studio. If your family isn't with us yet, there won't be anything here for you — but we'd love to see you in class.
