Worked great for timing students I use the app for timing armed guards during their qualifications. They have to complete certain strings of fire in a set time. With this app I can keep my eyes on the shooters and not a stop watch and still tell if anyone broke a shot late. With 8 shooters on the line I could adjust it to pick up everyone.
Good App Good app. You can adjust the db sensitivity, run par, virginia or comstock timing modes. I adjust sensitivity on Par to 64 db so it records when i unholster as well as hammer hitting the firing pin. Only downfall I have experienced is it it will NOT pick up any sound within the first 8/10ths of a second from the timer which is big disappointment. But for free shot timer app, who am i to complain?
Good App Very Useful. One thing could be improved: It would be nice to use the keyboard to input par times instead of the +/- buttons. I have to hit the "+" button 65 times for rifle competition practice. (Yes, I know it's an IPSC timer.)
Just ok Biggest issue is that it won't record anything faster than an 8/10 of a second. If they update it than it'll be a much better app. Overall its very nice for being free worth the time to download it though
Best one I have found I tryed other shot timers and this one worked the best. Has trouble picking up last shot fired. I use this more for setting par time than an actual timer. Wish it was a little bit louder had trouble hearing it on a windy day. All in all works very well.
Great Free App Needs to have a menu to adjust Db. Running it on a Galaxy Note 5 and it has no menu, so there are no adjustments that are able to me be made. If anyone talks between shots it registers a time and split, not very helpful when your running drills with a group of guys talking around ya.
+Will not register any shots first 0.75 seconds to avoid start signal echo.
+Starts count before start signal
