About this game

Jokeries keeps your place in every project at once.

Each project gets its own counters, and they can run together: a main row count, a repeat that wraps at the number you set, an increase round that ticks alongside. Set a target and the counter tells you how far through the piece you are, not just what number you are on.

Pattern steps live with the project. Write them out or paste a pattern in and let the importer split it into steps, ranges and stitch counts. Tick each one as you finish it, so putting a project down for three weeks does not mean starting the row count again.

The tools are the ones you keep reaching for anyway. A gauge calculator that turns your swatch into the stitch count you need. A needle and hook conversion chart across metric, US and UK. A glossary of the abbreviations patterns assume you know.

Knitting, crochet and Tunisian projects all sit on the same shelf. Haptic feedback on every tap means you can count without looking, and the screen can be kept awake while you work.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

No account, no sign-up and no sync. The app declares no internet permission — the only one it asks for is vibration, for the haptic tap. Nothing about your projects leaves the phone, and automatic cloud backup is off.
