Honestly, not a terrible game, just kind of overwhelming. The mechanics are complicated, to say the least. I kind of wish it were more popular, so there was more info out there on the game. You have to get in with an experienced alliance or do a lot of tinkering. Like a lot of tinkering. The whales kinda run the show, but that's pretty typical. That being said, as an f2p just picking this game up, I was consistently on the server leaderboard (In the first week anyway), so it could be worse.

Great game, support is totally lacking. Watched a group gather around my base. No indication of attack. Watched for 5 to 10 minutes then put a shield up and went to lunch. When I came back, I had all sorts of messages that my base had been attacked. Tried to file ticket on support page but the page appears to be broken. Can get to part where you describe issue but can't select the description field. Would like to know what happened in game.

TL; DR. Space version of base and ship building. Excellent eye-candy. Similar to ST Fleet Cmd. Like all PTW games you hit the wall eventually. But if you don't need to top the leaderboard, there's lots of story content to do as well for free that will keep you occupied for quite a while. I play maybe an hour or so a week and still feel like I made some progress.
