About this app

Do you keep opening Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts “for 5 minutes” and then lose an hour?
Unscroll: Block Reels & Shorts helps you stop doomscrolling by automatically blocking addictive short-video feeds, so you cut screen time and focus on what actually matters.

🚫 Block Reels, Shorts & endless feeds

Unscroll uses Android’s Accessibility Service to detect when you open addictive short-video screens and gently stop you before you fall into infinite scrolling.

With Unscroll, you can:

Block Reels, Shorts and similar short-video feeds

Reduce doomscrolling and impulsive social media use

Make your phone feel calm and focused again

⚙️ Key features

Reels blocker and Shorts blocker for supported social apps

Per-app controls – choose which apps to protect

Optional PIN lock so blocking can’t be switched off on impulse

No account or sign-up – works instantly after install

Smart protection that works quietly in the background

Simple, clean UI designed for productivity, not distraction

🎯 Why use Unscroll?

Short-video feeds are designed to keep you hooked. One swipe becomes fifty.
Unscroll flips this: instead of your feeds controlling you, you control your time.

What’s new

Unscroll now speaks your language: Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Indonesian, Turkish, Vietnamese and Arabic, with a language picker in Settings. Works in landscape and on tablets and foldables, with a refreshed full-screen layout on Android 15 and 16. Lower memory use in the background, a tidier app list, and switch feedback when you turn blocking on or off.
