I genuinely love this game in many ways. If it was a game I could buy, it would easily be 5/5 stars for me. The problem is, as it stands, it's too microtransaction-y in the long run. Limited Gachas come out too quickly and for short periods of time, a outfit that only comes from a figure you get from a large cumulative top-up bonus is the best in game, and there are multiple high score tables where most of the people on top are those who can spend. It just gets too money hungry in the long run.

The graphics are stellar and the extra storylines are very well done. However, it's nearly impossible to fully enjoy the game because the cards you need to win battles (or outfits for dress up) are only available as paid content, and the paid content is all pretty pricey. I don't think that's acceptable for a game still riddled with bugs and errors like text not displaying to levels not loading. Worse, it abruptly went offline with no warning during a limited run event... It's really a shame.

I quit before the game had its connection issues. The only good thing about the game is the combat mode. It feels like what a decent CCS rpg could be. Now the bad. The gatcha is awful. Besides the opening CS, there is almost no dialogue other than snippet sound bites. The gameplay loop is boring AF. Once you complete what story there is, end game is not there. But it was so boring I couldn't bother to finish. I just uninstalled the game, booted up my DVDs and watched the show. Do anything else.
