Update (Oct 19, 2023): The Developer has fixed the issues, and the app now works perfectly. 5 stars! >Original: Even though the menu lists it as an option, it won't allow unit of measure to be changed. It asks to access my location, which I select "don't allow," and it immediately asks a second time. It also asks every time I use the app. >Edit: Two star rating increase based on Developer responding to my comment. Unfortunately, I only speak English...

Good morning Kim, thank you very much for your comment. Thanks to you and the other comments I was able to fix the bugs. It should now work perfectly.
Regarding the location, now it asks at the beginning only once.
